Hoppers



Ingredients
  1. Two cups of raw rice
  2. 1/2 tea spoon baking powder
  3. 1/2 tea spoon baking soda
  4. 2 -3 cups of Coconut milk
  5. 1 tea spoon sugar
  6. Water
  7. Salt to taste

Method

  • Wash and soak the rice for 3 hours;
  • Drain and Put the rice in to the blender with a cup of Milk and blend thoroughly.
  • Add baking powder, baking soda, and sugar and mix well. keep it covered for about 5 hours.
  • At the required time add salt to taste and milk to get the mixture in to the correct consistency.
  • When the pan is warm pour about 1/2 coffee cup half in to the pan and holding the pan carefully spread the contents around the pan.
  • Cover and cook for 2 – 3 minutes over a low flame.
