Black Curry Powder.


Curry powder is a famous spice mix that has some of treasured many advantages. Turmeric, a major ingredient in curry powder, It has played an important role in Ayurvedic medicine for  treatment for inflammatory conditions. Also turmeric is known to slow down blood clotting. Curcumin is one of the most widely studied botanicals in the research on cancer also promising agent in the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer's disease.


Ingredients

  1. 2 cups coriander seeds
  2. 1/2 cup curry leaves
  3. 1 tbsp Cloves
  4. 1 tbsp Cardamoms
  5. 1 tbsp cinnamon crushed
  6. 1 tbsp raw rice.
  7. 1 tbsp Fenugreek 
  8. 1 tbsp mustard seeds
  9. 1 tbsp sweet cumin
  10. 1 cup cumin
  11. 2 1/2 cups Dried Red Chillie pieces


Method

  • Toast each ingredient separately in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring often, until fragrant and browned.
  • Remove from heat, Let cool.
  • Grind into a powder using either a mortar with a pestle or coffee/spice grinder. 
  • Store in a tight container.
