Rice.


Rice is the main food of the Sri Lankans. Almost every household in Sri Lanka takes rice and curry as its main meal. Rice too comes in many varieties such as Samba,Keeri samba,Red Nadu,Red Samba,Nadu Rice, Kalu Heenati, Suwandel.




Curry.



There are several curry dishes of meat, vegetables or fish.Coconut milk forms the base of this curry. Fresh herbs and toppings season these curries. Primary things like chicken,beef, pork, eggs or vegetables are cooked in a thick sauce of coconut milk with all the fixing flavors.Vegetarian  curries are set up from extremely accessible natural product or vegetable like brinjals, beans, beetroot, carrot, banana, pumpkin , and so forth.


Fruits.



Several types of fruits are found in Sri Lanka. There are fruits like mangoes, pineapple, water melon, papaya, woodapple, Dooriyan.Some of these fruits are found only in Sri Lanka.





Drinks.

Tea is the most popular drink in sri lanka, Most of the sri Lankans are tacking ‘Plain Tea’ which means only tea with sugar. Crushed ginger can add more flavour to it. Some people consumed with sugar and milk.Sri Lankans also drink coffee, young coconut, king coconut and fresh fruit juices.
